Melanie Stride-Noble Therapy

About me

I am a Therapist, Registered Associate Nutritionist, and Health Coach, offering compassionate support for a wide range of mental health and well-being challenges. I work with individuals experiencing concerns with food, eating habits, and overall health, as well as those navigating challenges with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges

My approach is holistic and personalised, integrating psychotherapy, nutritional therapy, and coaching to help clients gain a deeper understanding of their emotions, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I offer sessions in my private clinic near Woodbridge, Suffolk, online, and within the NHS.

My Journey & Approach - After completing a degree in Nutrition and Human Health and training as a Health Coach, I began working with individuals seeking to improve their health and manage their weight. Through my clinical experience and research, it quickly became clear that many people who lose weight struggle to maintain it long-term. This insight highlighted the need for a more integrative and holistic approach, leading me to train as an Eating Disorder Practitioner with the NCFED and complete Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E) for Eating Disorders at the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford (CREDO).

As I worked more deeply with clients, I realised that understanding the psychological and emotional factors behind eating behaviours was just as crucial as addressing nutrition. This realisation led me to further develop my therapeutic skills, and I am currently pursuing an MSc in Counselling and CBT. This training is deepening my expertise in both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches, allowing me to support clients in a more comprehensive and meaningful way.
